How does it work? Install the adapter onto the Presta valve stem, which converts it into a standard valve stem. This allows you to use your VERBAIR compressor to inflate the tires to your desired pressure.
In the cycling world, bicycle tire pressures vary depending on the activity. For instance, mountain-bikers run 15~35 PSI in their tires, gravel and city commuters 30~70 PSI, and road cyclists run higher pressures at 70~110 PSI. Using the correct compressor is important for achieving proper bike tire inflation. For pressures below 60 PSI the 150P or larger unit can be used, for pressures above 60 PSI the 250P or larger unit is recommended.
Compressors equipped with an on/off switch require closer monitoring when inflating bike tires due to the smaller air volume. If left unattended, there is a risk of the tire quickly over-inflating and popping. Using an automatic compressor provides more safety and control.
